How do I book a party?

1.  Pick a package. Visit our Packages pages to find which package is best suited for you.
2.  Pick a character.  You can view our characters on our Character page.


3.  Use our Booking Questions form to send us a message, email us or message us on our Facebook.  We will get back to you soon to give you a quote and talk out the details of your party. If you need any help or have any questions, please email us at

4.  Pay your deposit. Deposits for parties under $300 are $50.  Parties over $300 are $100.  We will send you a via PayPal. Once your deposit is paid, your reservation will be confirmed and you will pay the remaining amount any time before the day of the party or at the party in cash or check made out to Emerald Kingdom Parties.

Please note that your date is NOT ​reserved until your deposit has been paid!  ​Please note all deposits are non-refundable.​​

5.  After we receive your deposit we will email you a client policies and a media release.  The client policies will need to be signed and either emailed back or given to the party host at your party.  If this is not signed we cannot perform at your party.  The media release is at your discretion.  The media release is giving us permission to take pictures and/or video at your party and may use it on any media such as social media and print.  If you choose to sign this release please sign and email it or give it to the party host at your party.  If you do not sign the party host will not take any pictures/video during your party and any pictures you may provide us will not be posted or used under any means.

Why do you include a party host?

We include a party host first for safety.  The party host will be your point of contact during the party, this leaves the entertainer to stay in character at all times even when interacting with adults.  The party host helps the performer with setup, clean up and anything else they need.  If you chose to pay your party balance at the party please give it to the party host in an envelope and not to the performer.

How early do I need to book a party?

We suggest that you book at least four weeks in advance. Though we may occasionally have some last-minute openings, it's never guaranteed.

What do you do at the party?


We have several packages to choose from. Each package tells you which activities are included on our Packages page. If you would like a summary of each activity, read more on our Activities page.

Do I need to provide anything at the party?

You do not need to supply anything for the princess but space for them to operate in. Depending on what is included in your package, here are some things you may need:

  • A table for crafts.

  • Open space for games, story time, dancing, etc.

  • A designated (and possibly decorated) area for photos

Our crafts are usually foam based.  We will never have crafts with glitter.  Any markers used are washable.

Do we need to tip our performers?

Our performers are paid a flat rate for every party, so tipping is greatly appreciated if you feel that they did a good job.  It isn't required, but we are very gracious to those who do.  You may also choose to tip your party host.

What is an original character?

If you do not see a character you would like to book, please email us and we will do our best to accommodate your request. We may not be able to fulfill all requests.

If you can add it to your party the $100 add on fee will be added to your deposit.

Can I book more than one character? How much does it cost?

Absolutely! You can book as many characters as you'd like. The price is $75 per character per hour.

How many children can I have at the party?

For the Meet and Greet, you can have up to 20 children. For the Activities, you can have up to 10 due to supplies.  Any greater number than these we suggest adding a second character to help keep the children entertained.

What does the extra 30 minutes include?

You can add 30 extra minutes to any package for $50.  You can use these 30 minutes for just about anything.  We will not bring anything to fill these extra 30 minutes. This gives you 30 more minutes with the character! They stay longer to participate in activities you have planned ahead of time. This works great if you already have other games planned or would like them to present the cake and open presents with your child.

Will the character eat cake with the birthday child?

Unfortunately we will refrain from eating or drinking anything but water during your party.  This is to ensure the costume does not get stains and in the case of cake/cupcake frosting does not stain the performers mouth.  If you child insists they have cake, please wrap it up and the party host will gladly hold on to it until after the party so the character can take it with them.

Can the parents leave or be in a separate place during the character visit?

We are performers, not babysitters or disciplinarians.  We require that adults be present during the entire visit.  Plus you wouldn't want to miss all the magical moments your child is going to experience!

Can we smoke/drink during the visit?

We request that you refrain from smoking anything or drinking alcohol during the character visit.  If you are in a smoking residence please air out the area at least an hour before the performer arrives.  Our costumes and wigs soak up smells very easily and are extremely hard to wash out.  Your party host will let you know if there are any problems.

Where can I have my party? Can we have it outside?

We will travel to your home or venue. Travel fees may apply. 


If your party is outside, it must meet the following requirements:
   • It is between 60 and 80 degrees outside
   • It is clear and sunny - not rainy or windy.
   • It is not muddy.


Please specify the party conditions in your booking. If any of these conditions are not met during an outdoor party, we will require an inside venue before beginning our activities so that the party can run smoothly as planned and the character's costume is safe.

Which characters do you have?

A list of our character are located on our Character page.  Please note that The Winter Queen, The Summer Princess, The Mermaid Princess, The Tinker Fairy and The Enchanted Princess have multiple costumes to choose from.

What ages do you perform for?

The ideal ages for princess parties are 3-7 years old. We will do parties for children 10 years or younger. We may make certain exceptions (i.e. Sweet 16 birthday parties), but we do not do Bachelor(ette) parties. We reserve the right to refuse business to any customer for any reason.

How far do you travel?

We travel up to an hour away from our base location in Kirkland, WA. Additional fees may apply to compensate our performers for gas and travel time.

How do I pay my deposit?

Once you have a quote and your deposit will be sent to you via PayPal. You can pay with a PayPal account or any card.  Please keep in mind that your date is NOT reserved until the deposit is paid. We ask that your deposit is paid as soon as possible so your spot is not taken.  All deposits are non-refundable.

Can I request a specific performer to be at my party?

We can make an effort to accommodate your request but it is not guaranteed.  Our entertainers are hired to represent certain characters and not all costumes fit all entertainers heights, for example our Winter Queen performers are taller and cannot fit into the Tinker Fairy costume because of their height.  Your specific entertainer may also already be booked out for another gig that day.

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule a party?

Please contact us as soon as possible.  We can reschedule your party and move your deposit to that day instead.  If you need to cancel for any reason your deposit is still non-refundable.  If you have pre-paid for your party in full, we will refund you the balance minus the deposit.  We will do our best to find a date that works for both of us.

Do you perform at public, corporate or school events?

Yes, we do!  We can offer special pricing for these.  Please send us a message via the general contact form, email us or message us on Facebook and specify that it is a corporate or school event. We will give you a quote after getting all of the details about your event.

Do you give military discounts?

At this time we do not offer military discounts.
